In compliance with our client CASHES policy, JERRY PIPING NIGERIA LIMITED, continues its business activities of corrosion control services and industrial/safety hardware, chemical blasting materials, statement, civil mechanical and electrical work, welding, fabrication, supplies of spare parts minor Oil tools, safety equipment and general good in such a way that the health and safety of its employees are safeguarded and that damages to property and environment are minimized.
The management of JERRY PIPING NIGERIA LIMITED agrees that all accident is preventable provided set down procedures are followed. Accidents are leading causes of damages and loss and sometimes-serious injury to p[persons. The companies had laid-down safety rules for its employees and provide work equipment that is in good condition strict disciplinary measures against offenders of the system.

Management is aware that potential risks areas exist both at home, leisure and places of work.

To this end, management places the provision of welfare amenities and health places worktop on its priority lists. This policy is set out for every employees of that company to comply with its directive by personally involved. Employees are expected therefore to report unsafe acts and conditions for prompt correction. It is mandatory for all employees to wear personal protective provided for their use.

I implore the co-operation of every employee in making this policy workable.

Furthermore to give full backing to this policy, we will endeavor to do the following:

  • Ensure that all employees working on-shore swamp or offshore have ability to swim to safety and have valid swimming certificates.
  • Employees must be examined and certified fit-for duty by a registered doctors.
  • Every staff will be physically examined medically by a government  registered  practitioner
  • Provide staff and others associated with our site information on any know potential hazards.
  • To ensure that staff are exposed to safety course organized by reputable organization and our clients
  • Endeavor to select and maintain high and cost effective standard for projects operation and contractors
  • To report all incidents immediately they occur to our client and carry out prompt investigation of it.
  • To provided adequate personal protective equipment and enforced usage of such equipment.

JPNL-Quality Management System Manual

1.0 INTRODUCTION

The ISO 9001:2008 standard requires the development and implementation of documented quality system, including the preparation of quality manual.

JERRY PIPING NIGERIA LIMITED (JPNL), Quality Manual states the quality policy and describes the quality system of the organisation.

This quality manual is one of the documents dealing with quality management system requirements in use by Jerry Piping Nigeria Limited.
The documents are titled as follows:
  1. Jerry Piping Nigeria Limited Quality Manual (JPNL/QMS 01) manual defines outline/structure of the quality management system (QMS) and serves as a permanent reference in the implementation and maintenance of the system.
  2. JPNL also maintains documented Quality Management System Procedures. The procedures are quality documents coordinating different activities with respect to an effective quality system, which support the manual and in accordance with ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system requirements.
  3. Work Instructions/ Quality plans and records. These are quality documents which define operational processes and ensure that the processes are approved.

JPNL Quality manual provides guidance on the policies and procedures applicable for the provision of services and operations in the company.

The policies and procedures in this manual are implemented to ensure that the requirements for a quality management system for Jerry Piping Nigeria Limited are documented and in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 quality management system requirements.

1.1 Scope
This document is classified as “level A document” of Jerry Piping Nigeria Limited Quality Management System.
The document defines the company’s Quality Policy, Quality objectives and outlines the processes needed for the operation of Jerry Piping Nigeria Limited Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008.

Jerry Piping  Nigeria Limited Quality Manual makes references to Quality Procedures and other documentation required for the full implementation of the company’s Quality Management System.

Jerry Piping Nigeria Limited Quality Manual issued to clients for quality assurance purposes are not subject to control. Jerry Piping Nigeria Limited shall not bear responsibilities for any misinformation due to statements contained in obsolete versions of Quality Manual.
The management system as a whole is reviewed during regular management review meetings where the completeness and effectiveness of the system and any step necessary to improve it are discussed and implemented.
Whenever the management system is changed the Management Representative makes all relevant personnel aware of the new or revised systems and monitors them to ensure that they are implemented effectively.

1.3 Medium of Communication

The medium of communication in JPNL is the English language. The company maintains Communication facilities like telephone, and e-mail for easy access to personnel, clients and contractors. All Quality Management System documents used by the company are written in the English Language.

1.4 Distribution

The company QHSE Manager is in charge of control of the distribution of the Quality Manual and Quality Procedures. His responsibility is to maintain the distribution lists of the Quality Manual and Quality Procedures.

1.5 Restriction
Jerry Piping Nigeria Limited (JPNL) Quality Manual and Quality Procedures are controlled documents. These documents shall not be reproduced and information contained therein shall not be disclosed to other parties without a prior written permission of top management.

3.0 BUSINESS PROCESSES

3.1 Description
The quality management system is documented within this Quality Management Manual. The service delivery process is defined in Appendix D. The Management Procedures are listed in Appendix E.

The operation of the management system is supplemented whenever a requirement is determined by additional management procedures.

This manual is prepared in accordance with ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System.

3.2 Implementation and Maintenance
It is recognised that documenting the management system is only the first step towards fully implementing its requirements. For this reason the entire Jerry Piping Nigeria Limited staff existing and new are briefed on the requirements of the Quality Management Systems to ensure full compliance.
The effectiveness of the implementation is measured through internal audits of the management system. Where implementation is deemed inadequate then steps are taken to resolve the situation in a timely manner.
